Our completely new panorama sauna landscape is located in the very best location in the middle of the mountains. On the attic floor of the Hotel Kösslerhof in St. Anton am Arlberg a cosy wellness area awaits our guests, inviting our guests to relax and unwind. Up here, away from the hustle and bustle, you get to enjoy fantastic views to the surrounding mountains. From our Finnish sauna your gaze is drawn to Stanzertal and its impressive, giant mountains, as you perspire and do your body a good turn. Afterwards replenish your fluids at our tea & juice bar, from where you get to enjoy an impressive view to Verwalltal. The new bio sauna with its calming play of colours is also recommended for those of you who find the Finnish sauna too hot. If you want to know what it feels like to have the world at your feet, you only have to take a few steps out on to our roof-top terrace. Let the panoramic views of our natural surroundings take effect on you and enjoy a moment of freedom from the woes of daily life. The wellness area does of course also have infrared cabins for our guests. The luxurious showers are the perfect way to round off a well-being experience, before you retire to the relaxation room and once again take in the Arlberg mountains. On request we can also book a massage for you close by.
The Finnish sauna is a traditional variant of the sauna which, at a temperature of approx. 80 to 100 degrees Celsius and a humidity of approx. 10 to 30, contributes to the purification and detoxification of the body due to the high loss of fluid, stimulates the circulation and blood circulation and strengthens the immune system.
Intense wood fragrance, natural ambience, free thoughts & a view of our forest "Tschatschabrand"
This is what our sauna experience offers
The sanarium is derived from a classic Finnish sauna. The big difference between a sanarium and a Finnish Sauna is the lower temperature and humidity levels. Sometimes you also combine the color light therapy with the sanarium to increase the mental well-being.
You can use the infrared cabin from temperature of 30 degrees Celsius. The ideal temperature is 45°C until 60°C. Set your desired temperature when you switch on the heating cabin. You can adjust these as you wish while you are in the sauna. You can also set the duration as you like using the digital control panel.
We recommend a session of approx. 30 minutes. After the sauna, we recommend resting a little and drinking enough mineral water.
Infrared heat cabins do not heat the body through hot room air, such as in a Finnish sauna, but via infrared radiation, which is generated by infrared heaters.
Up here, our guests are surrounded by breathtaking mountains, away from the hustle and bustle und today's fast-paced world. The panoramic roof top terrace is ideal for letting the time stand still for a moment.
Cool off here after your sauna session or relax on our sun loungers. Time for yourself is what counts here.
